Last week Supremecrete decorative concrete crew took on an exposed aggregate gone wrong to makeover a residential patio . The exposed aggregate was poorly applied by the contractor and the home owner wanted something that looked nicer. Supremecrete applied a Graniflex system with a Pumice chip color and a 24″ tile design. In the photos you can just barely see the grout lines of the 24″ tile which are nearly the same color as the tiles themselves. Graniflex provides a surface stronger than the original concrete itself using a polyaspartic top coat which is extremely tough and durable. In the end Supremecrete delivered a durable coating with a nice color to make another happy customer.
You can see the 24″ grout tile lines in the picture below. In the consultation with the homeowner we determined a subtle grout line would be preferred over a higher contrast grout.
