Shot blasting is a process whereby a machine shoots tiny metals balls into the concrete creating small pores all over the concrete. By the time the epoxy basecoat is applied the concrete surface will make an extremely tight bond to the same. While the epoxy basecoat is wet vinyl chips of various colors are tossed in. When the epoxy dries the chips are blown off, and the surface is scraped to a desired texture. Last urethane is applied for a chemical-resistant, UV proof industrial coating. The chips provide an extra layer of strength as well providing a long lasting enduring coating.
