Graniflex Pumice Natural Stone – Van Wert Ohio
Last week Supremecrete decorative concrete crew took on an exposed aggregate gone wrong to makeover a residential patio . The exposed aggregate was poorly applied by the contractor and the home owner wanted something that looked nicer. Supremecrete applied a Graniflex system with a Pumice chip color and a 24″ tile design. In the photos you can just barely see the grout lines of the 24″ tile which are nearly the same color as the tiles themselves. Graniflex provides a surface stronger than the original concrete itself using a polyaspartic top coat which is extremely tough and durable. In the end Supremecrete delivered a durable coating with a nice color to make another happy customer. (more…)

Lima OH Epoxy Garage Flake Coating
Our epoxy flake coating starts with thorough preparation by grinding then shot blasting the concrete. Grinding removes any surface deposits and roughs up the concrete surface. Shot blasting is a process whereby a machine shoots tiny metals balls into the concrete creating small pores all over the concrete. By the time the epoxy basecoat is applied the concrete surface will make an extremely tight bond to the same. While the epoxy basecoat is wet vinyl chips of various colors are tossed in. When the epoxy dries the chips are blown off, and the surface is scraped to a desired texture. Last urethane is applied for a chemical-resistant, UV proof industrial coating. The chips provide an extra layer of strength as well providing a long lasting enduring coating. Other companies use epoxy finishes to save money rather than urethanes which will only yellow over time with sunlight. Supremecrete’s main goal is to provide customer satisfaction by providing a long lasting coating that does not lose its strength. If you live in Van Wert, Ohio; St. Mary’s, Ohio; Celina, Ohio; Sidney, Ohio; Dayton, Ohio or anywhere in between call Supremecrete for your garage floor epoxy coating estimate today. (more…)

Garage Epoxy Chip Coating – Bryan OH
This past week we were in Bryan, Ohio to install or epoxy chip coating system on a garage floor. The “Do-It-Yourself” system originally applied on this floor was failing badly and the garage floor was in need of a makeover. Not only do we diamond grind every garage floor, we also shot blast to insure permanent adhesion.
Our client on this project wanted his expansion joints completely filled to have seamless floor so we applied our Flexible Joint Filler on the first day after prepping the concrete.
After epoxy was applied, color chips were broadcast into the wet epoxy at 100% coverage. Two coats of UV resistant urethane and the finished product is the perfect balance between clean-ability and slip-resistance.
